Job Overview

One of Toyota’s authorized dealers in Wasit Governorate, Al-Kut is looking for Sales Manager with the requirements below:

Overall Objective of the Job:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and motivating the sales team to achieve company sales targets and business growth objectives. The role ensures the effective implementation of sales strategies, operational standards, and company policies while driving retail, fleet, and corporate sales performance. The Sales Manager oversees showroom operations, customer relationship management, sales pipeline governance, and overall team performance to maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. The position also focuses on improving key business KPIs, enhancing the customer journey, developing team capabilities through coaching and training, and ensuring strong coordination between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and After-Sales departments while maintaining and protecting the Toyota brand reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales plans, strategies, and targets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead and supervise the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
  • Assign sales targets and responsibilities to sales consultants and monitor performance.
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans.
  • Analyze sales performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and business partners.
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process and post-sales follow-up.
  • Supervise showroom operations, vehicle displays, cleanliness, and customer experience standards.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and After-Sales departments to support business operations.
  • Ensure the sales team maintains updated product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and market information.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of sales staff.
  • Identify training and development needs for team members.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalated issues professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Ensure achievement of retail, fleet, and corporate sales targets.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, achievements, and operational activities.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review targets, challenges, and progress.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
  • Own and deliver agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Drive retail sales dominance while ensuring controlled exposure to brokers and resellers.
  • Manage and improve core KPIs, including:
  • Conversion rate (Lead → Walk-in → Sale)
  • Closing ratio
  • Sales per consultant
  • Lost sales reduction
  • Take corrective actions in real-time to recover gaps versus targets.
  • Act as the final authority on deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation.
  • Personally intervene in critical customer situations to secure business outcomes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Toyota sales processes, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance, target-driven sales team.
  • Set clear individual targets and enforce daily activity discipline.
  • Coach and develop team members through structured and on-the-job training programs.
  • Utilize the Skill Mapping Program to enhance Sales Consultant performance and productivity.
  • Own the end-to-end customer journey from inquiry to vehicle delivery.
  • Ensure alignment and coordination between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and After-Sales departments.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of a premium Toyota customer experience.
  • Drive continuous improvements in Customer Satisfaction Index (SSI/NPS) results.
  • Handle escalated customer issues effectively while protecting brand reputation in the market.
  • Enforce strict and consistent usage of CRM systems across the sales team.
  • Ensure full visibility and control over:
  • Leads
  • Follow-ups
  • Appointments
  • Eliminate leakage in the sales funnel through structured follow-up discipline and monitoring.
 

Qualifications & requirements

Job Requirements:

Educational Level/ Required Certificates:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales.
  • Minimum 2–4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
