Female Front Office Agent

DEPARTMENT: Front Office

REPORTS TO: Front Office Supervisor / Front Office Manager

LOCATION: DDK Collection Hotel, Shahan Tower, Duhok, Kurdistan Region – Iraq

 

JOB PROFILE

The Front Office Agent is a key ambassador of DDK Collection Hotel, responsible for delivering exceptional guest service throughout the guest journey—from arrival to departure. The role requires professionalism, efficiency, and a genuine passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest experiences the highest standards expected of a 5-star hotel.

The Front Office Agent handles guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, inquiries, billing, and coordination with other departments while maintaining the hotel’s luxury service standards, brand image, and operational procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Services

  • Welcome guests with a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

l  Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

l  Anticipate guest needs and personalize service whenever possible.

Front Office Operations

  • Manage room assignments, reservations, and availability using the hotel PMS.
  • Handle cash, card transactions, and billing accurately.
  • Ensure guest accounts are correct and balanced.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, logs, and reports.
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Bell Desk, Engineering, and Security.

Communication & Coordination

  • Answer incoming calls professionally and direct them appropriately.
  • Communicate guest preferences and special requests to relevant departments.
  • Ensure smooth handover during shift changes.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Standards, Safety & Compliance

  • Uphold all 5-star service standards and brand guidelines of DDK Collection Hotel.
  • Maintain a polished appearance in line with grooming and uniform standards.
  • Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and security procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality of guest and hotel information at all times.

Qualifications & requirements

JOB PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree graduate
  • Related experience is preferred, however fresh graduate with strong hospitality skills may be considered.

Language Skills

  • Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is mandatory.
  • Additional languages are an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
  • Strong numerical and cash-handling accuracy.
