BEST CODE is a newly established engineering and design services based in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We specialize in architectural design services for residential and commercial projects, and we are building a strong brand presence both on the ground and across social media platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring Architectural Engineer to take full ownership of all architectural design work at BEST CODE. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and creative individual to be the lead designer from day one. You will be responsible for the complete range of architectural services we offer, including interior design, exterior design, residential houses, villas, commercial buildings, and renovations.

Equally important, you will play an active role in building our company’s brand by regularly creating and posting engaging content on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). This includes showcasing your design work, sharing project progress, and creating visual content that attracts clients and builds our online reputation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architectural Design

• Lead and manage all architectural design projects from concept to final delivery
• Create complete interior design plans including space planning, material selection, furniture layouts, lighting, and color schemes
• Develop exterior and façade designs for houses, villas, apartments, and commercial buildings
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and renders for client presentations and approvals
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets
• Prepare construction documents, technical drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all designs comply with Kurdistan Region and Iraqi building codes and municipal regulations
• Conduct site visits to oversee design implementation and resolve on-site issues
• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, and construction methods for the local market and climate
• Prepare project cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ)

Social Media & Brand Building

• Create and post high-quality visual content on the company’s social media accounts on a regular basis (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others)
• Showcase ongoing and completed projects through photos, videos, reels, and before/after content
• Share design tips, trends, and behind-the-scenes content to engage followers and attract new clients
• Develop 3D renders and walkthrough videos suitable for social media posting
• Respond to inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a professional and timely manner
• Stay up to date with social media trends in the architecture and interior design industry
